20+2, TT at the bubble
Table has been tight. Even the big stack hasn't done much stealing.
20+2 Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter BB (t570) UTG (t845) Hero (t1520) SB (t5065) Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Hero ??? |

Re: 20+2, TT at the bubble
Obviously I want to play this hand, but should I push or could I raise 600 in this rare spot?

Re: 20+2, TT at the bubble
If you raise to 600, the bigstack comes over the top and the shortstack folds, what do you do?

Tough one. Villain being tight, I don't think he's calling you without a real hand. I guess I'd push this, but I think it's close.

I'm pretty sure this is "Push push push, push twice on Sundays."

Re: 20+2, TT at the bubble
This is an obvious push with TT. A better question is, what minimum pair would you push with in this spot considering how shortstacked the BB and UTG are. I think 88 is about right.

Re: 20+2, TT at the bubble
Just push, I doubt SB calls but if he does you at least have a good solid hand to make a stand with, betting 600 looks weak, I reckon SB is more likely to come over the top if he senses weakness than he is to call an all-in raise.
