Beating NL100 PP

I haven't logged many hands since my PT database got fried. So I'm not really sure where I stand in terms of PT bb/100. It doesn't really matter, I'm logging hands to bolster my confidence and to get myself moving up. I am sure I am beating PP NL100, no worries here. How many hands should I log at the NL100 tables before I move up to the NL200 tables, just so I'm accustomed to the plays employed at the 100 level?

Also, should I mix in 6 handed poker to make myself a better player?

I've been in 100 full for a while now, and periodically go up to $200 full and 6 max when I'm running well. Honestly, the tables seem no different. You just have to mark one or two excellent players, the rest is business as usual imo. I've had donks call off $100 on a gutshot, $40 on second pair, you name it it's there. There is a little less crazy lagginess in my experience, but there seem to be more calling stations.

Play the 100 game until you feel comfortable playing large pots without the nuts (or near it). The higher you go, the mroe you will be put to the test with strong, but not unbeatable hands.

Mixing in 6-handed is always a good idea as it will boost your level of understanding when the pot becomes heads-up more often. Also, stealing the blinds becomes much more profitable the higher the blinds go.

I'm curious to know what the pt bb/100 should be at the NL100 tables. I'd like to play a handful of hands for stat sig before moving up to NL200.

general consensus is around 9ptbb/100 is about the best you'll reallistically see, but i'm at 6.5 and feeling allright...

I've played a little NL100, and quite a bit at NL200 (and a tiny bit at NL400). In comparison to the 100 and 400, the 200 is both tighter and more passive. In the 200, the players tend to know what they're doing (mostly), so a more GSP approach works well. You can loosen up a little bit on continuation bets, since you're less likely to get called here.

Go up when you bankroll is ready. Players suck on both the biggest difference is adjusting to the Price. Seeing a flop with a suited connecter is much easier at 100 and 200 than 400. So in my estimation being able to forget about the chips in play is the biggest adjustment. Its hard to swallow for someone moving up from 200 to 400 that sometimes late callinga 15 dollar raise can be a +EV play. WHere 15 was a big raise in the old game its standard at 400. Also when someone raises you all in at 400 and 200 it becomes harder to call. SO i suggest when your bankroll says
your ready move up. But dont forget your style. IF you intend on playing this supperagg style you need a bigger bank roll than rocks that move up. So i say at least another month til you move and can crush the 200 like the 100 and once you get yourself 6 k move up to 400.
