bet on 5th?

in a loose 2/4 game, i bring it in for 1 buck, and 6 ppl call. i have 3 random cards. 5th st brings me a pair of open jacks, and no draw possiblity. the pot is $7. my opponents show no made draw possibility, and only one has an overcard(Q). do i bet?

just my 2/4 cents: i wouldn't. not even sure if i'd call a raise. on one hand i'd be inclined to because i know it's a loose table and they could be betting anything. on the other hand i'd be inclined not to because it's a loose table so you know they're more likely to stay to the end so more likely to catch

Betting can't be that far wrong. There's a good chance that you have the best hand, and maybe you can buy the pot.
