Looking for a good casino tournament in the midwest...
Does anyone know of a good tournament in the Midwest at a casino?
I am mainly looking for a 30-100 buy in with a good starting stack size, etc. I am not yet 21, so the casino would have to have a gambling age of 18+. If anyone knows of a casino that hosts this kind of tournament preferably in IL (riverboat or such), WI, or MN, it would be a great help. Thank you. |

Re: Looking for a good casino tournament in the midwest...
Canterbury Park hosts a tourney every Wed night, alternating between limit ($100+20) and no-limit ($200+25). Both tournaments feature blinds that escalate way too fast (although this is not uncommon in many casino tourneys). Gambling age at CP is 18. They card at the door, and don't try to order beer, because they card when you do that too, sonny-boy.
