I haven't played in almost any hands and been blinded down to the 615 chips. Table is fairly tight at this point. Are situations like this no brainer push any two if it's folded to you in the SB? |

Re: Are situations like this push any two?
You gotta take from the BB at times and 5-7BB is desperation time.
If the BB is tight then its a definite push |

Re: Are situations like this push any two?
Even if this spot wasn't a place where you could push any 2 (BB is a donk with 00ber-loose calling range), Q3o is always a push here.

Check out the tables in the twoplustwo magazine
http://www.twoplustwo.com/magazine/i...Bragg0506.html There are similar tables in the next issue for defending against a push heads-up. In short. Q6 is a definite push if you think your opponent will call only his 25% best hands or if you think your opponent will call 75% or more. Even if you have more chips it would still be profitable to push in those cases. Oddly it's borderline if your opponent will only call 50% of his hands. But it's still profitable where you are with only 5x the BB. If you had over 8x then it wouldn't be. |
