Default OK to call down?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, CO calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, BB calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, CO folds, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (7.25 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

I may or may not have the best hand but I have outs to a gutshot str8 and set, if I didn't have outs, I'd call the flop w/ intention of raising turn and folding to a 3 bet. Any thoughts on my play of this hand and thoughts if I didn't have outs? (Assume we have no reads but most likely typical passive opponents.)

Erik, she could have check-raised a pair of 7's or 8's. I was the pf raiser. Can you give me a more thoughtful analysis please? Thanks.

none of your outs are totally clean. The 9d is out there completing the flush, and if you make a set that leaves a one gap str8 out there. Plus if the Td comes you could be in a bad spot. Any hand that you could beat on the river is checking to you. I don't like the call down much.

EDIT: If they c/r you w/ a 7, 8 or draw and put you on over cards their most likely stoping on the turn or river when that K hits.

Typical party players aren't c/ring this flop with a 7 or 8. If you have a read that villain is a maniac I guess it's ok but against a normal opponent I'm folding the turn.

Thanks for your input guys and I think it was better for me to give up on the turn.

Every reply doesn't have to be "you did this right and you did this wrong." I'm asking you a question to get you to think more about the hand.

which is a lot more productive than some people think. When you figure something out on your own its so much more valuable.

Well Erik, I was more than 50% sure I was beat on the river but by that point I have to call b/c of what the pot was laying me but from peoples responses, I felt like I shouldn't have continued past the turn. Don't get me wrong, I sincerely appreciate your help Erik.
