One time in a tourney we had at school I was on a huge bluff with like J2o and the board hit the nut straight. I got AK to fold his "two pair" because he was afraid I had a full house, even though it wasn't possible. When the other player in the hand called we chopped a big portion of his chips, then called him a dumbass. It was great.

Too tired to comment about ethics but one time my Hero got in about seventeen big bets on the river with the nut straight against a set and a nit held the set. I guess she played it deceptively on the flop and turn

Was the straight on the board?

Or was the point that the 'nit' just kept going without having the same hand. (the nuts)

I actually saw one situation where it was not only -EV to raise but to call the raise as well. The additional rake generated was greater than each player's share of the pot.

Man, that's a tough game to beat... sounds like everytime someone bets $1 they rake $2. Does the guy who wins the -money pot have to give the house all the extra rake they were supposed to get, but couldn't because the pot ran out of money?

All-in without question. I don't give a flying f**k what the other players think. Popular players doen't get more money. I have no down side, I would be dead wrong not to try to make someone fold.

Rake isn't an issue. It should have already capped.
