I like your line a lot, especially the river check-raise, but I would raise more on the end, probably to 500-600, expecting a call from Q10 or perhaps more likely J9.

Curveball on river?
How about one of the best cards possible on river? That would be a more truthful explanation. You didn't pair the board, you didn't 4 club the board. I see the bet on the river as a reflex bet to your check (as if you missed your draw; nice play by the way, except when he checks too...and he shows a set you could have gotten more $ from..but thats a different story) anyway, i dont think your beat, nice play. |

well obviously if a scare card came on the river, I'd probably throw a blocking bet out there. I thought the c/r on the river was interesting. Most here would probably bet 3/4 pot for value.
