Default How often am I ahead here? ($22)

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) converter

Hero (t965)
MP2 (t480)
MP3 (t845)
CO (t620)
Button (t715)
SB (t725)
BB (t700)
UTG (t1870)
UTG+1 (t1080)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t30, Hero raises to t90, 5 folds, BB calls t60, UTG+1 calls t60.

Flop: (t285) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets t610 (All-In), UTG+1 raises to t990 (All-In), Hero ???

Not very often, I was thinking.

How would you play it if BB checked and UTG+1 pushed?

Thanks for any input.

I think you're ahead at least 1/2 the time, giving you good odds.

Either or both could be on a draw and either or both could just have a Q and be protecting from the draw.

And I hope you raise a little more with KK preflop after a limper next time, not that it would change this hand much, but you would be getting a little bit better odds on the flop call (that we hope you made).

At the 22s you are ahead more than often enough to justify this call.

Yeah, I was thinking that the raise was a little small. Would you raise it to 120 in that situation?

So no one is afraid of UTG+1 having better than one pair here? Or are you just saying that the pot is too big to let it go, even if I think I'm behind (possibly way behind)?

if he had limped EP with AA he wouldnt have cold called you, instead you two woulda have gotten all your money in preflop. EP limps with QQ, JJ are very rare, but even so more likely they would have reraised your raise. QJ and 33 are possibilities.. but if he is going to play either this lousy and i have KK he gets my money. Id say 80+ of the time he has K10, a queen, or purebluff (maybe A3, lol).. Qj and 33 are both possibilities for the caller, but i agree you are ahead enough of the time to call here and triple up early
