For that kind of money you should look for some of those plastic deck chairs, maybe get the high back ones and throw some cushions on them.

Thrift stores, garage sales, whatever. It all depends on how proud you are. My biggest score was eight metal folding chairs some students had set out by the curb because they were moving. All I had to do was dust them off. They look like something you'd get from the rental place, but they work well, and they've come in very handy for the big nights.

I got mine from a party rental store. I didn't want to have a stack of 20 folding metal chairs, the "brown sams" stack much smaller.
