Default 1/2 6max - 88 hand

I've moved up (over?) to 1/2 6max to start working on my SH/HU play as well as learn how to push those marginal hands harder. Thing is, even though I'm currently running at a more than healthy +12BB/100, I think I'm running very lucky. No...I KNOW I'm getting lucky.

Villain in the following hand is 48/13/1.67 and WtSD is 57% over 23 hands. From what I've seen over these hands, he calls down whenever he has a piece of the board, and can find the raise button if he thinks he's got the nuts. Has bluffed at scary boards once or twice.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP posts a blind of $1.
UTG calls, MP (poster) checks, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Should I have raised?

Flop: (5 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB folds, UTG folds, MP folds.

Turn: (3.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero ?

hey dude, yeah this is a definite preflop raise.

as for the turn. i would call against this guy. he would probably check raise the turn or he would have bet the flop if he has the flush now. a lot of times he either has a 4 and is scared of the flush or he has a high spade. he could also have a jack. but we have flush outs usually, unless he has specificially the J with a T/Q/K/A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

if he leads the river on a blank you should probably fold.

whew that is tough. slowplayed 4, J, flush draw, straight draw.

i'd probably call at least the turn. see what the river brings.

folding the turn would be pretty ridiculous. call the turn and see what happens on the river.
