Default $400 NL Hand with Interesting Stack Sizes Affecting Decisions

No Reads, except that Villain who is betting the pot on turn and river is not a ridiculously bad player. I usually assume the short stacks are a little desperate.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (10 handed) converter

UTG+2 ($1548.85)
MP1 ($396)
MP2 ($90.4)
MP3 ($630.6)
CO ($200)
Button ($102)
SB ($366.05)
Hero ($510.75)
UTG ($170.5)
UTG+1 ($114.03)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $4. SB posts a blind of $2.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to $10</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls $10, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, SB (poster) calls $8, Hero calls $6.

Flop: ($44) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 checks.

Turn: ($44) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $40</font>, Hero calls $40, UTG+1 calls $40, MP2 folds.

River: ($164) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $160</font>, Hero ?

Why did you go through all this trouble to convert a $200 NL hand to a $400 NL hand?

Because no one in small stakes considered stack sizes, which motivated both my turn and river decisions. So, I was unsatisfied with the advice over there.

Edit: Check title of post.

who cares about stack sizes. Are you saying you wanted UTG+1's dead money so you just flatcalled the turn? That's fine, but you may be giving SB (or UTG+1) a free look at a straight draw with KQ.

All that said, raise the turn. If you forget to do that, move in on the river.

Not me! I just blindly play my 2 cards with no consideration of how much money I have or my opponents have! After all I don't want to win money, I just want to make big hands like ten ten ten! Woohoo!

Posting $200 NL hands here is -EV.

And, for what it's worth... I don't understand the point of this post at all. Do you need help making a river decision? AJ is probably the only hand that you beat that would call your raise on the river. Though 66 and 77 is also quite possible.

If he will play AJ from the SB for a raise, then why not 89 or KQ, hell JT !

K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], or any old 89 and JJ all seem like they could be out there.

Why does he only have 3 possible hands here ? Hell - he could have a whiffed heart draw given the action.
