Raising to 60 is nuts. I would raise it to 50.

I'm not insta-calling. If it is an $11 or a $6, I would call. In a $22 or $33, I would fold without some read. It looks like BB has won a showdown, so you probably have some info on him. (or prophecy if you have that)

Cool. After searching some threads on limping vs. raising jacks preflop I'm thinking maybe I should change my style. I have never really thought about it too profoundly. Limping just was suggested to me by an online pro player when I started sng'ing.

But I think that limping for set/overpair value might still be a good idea for newbies learning the game at 10+1's or something, to avoid tricky postflop plays in the beginning.

If you have 1000 starting chips I can see raising being a better option. It may be a better option even with 800 but I prefer to expose my stack for as little risk as possible in level 1. If I hit the flop well I will be paid off slightly less since the pot is smaller to start with but I will lose less chips all those times when the flop is ugly.
