Default Theory of Poker

Is anyone elses theory of poker book in complete shambles? I bought it before i went on vacation so i would have something to read on the long drive and i found myself having to keep track of loose pages and cover that fell completely off the book. Mind you this happened in about a weeks time. This just puzzles me because i have other 2+2 books that have stayed in perfect condition for a LONG time. Does anyone want to please tell me this is a freak occurance... a renegade book that was made differently from the rest?

Unfortunately I think I'm going to have to take you up on this, Mason. I have 6-7 2+2 books and they've all held up OK except Theory of Poker, that thing is in absolute shambles. And I've owned it less than 6 months, probably 3 read-throughs.

I've never had binding issues, but my HEFAP arrived with two pages looking like they had something strange when they were cut before binding. One has a hole in the upper right of it and the other looked like it had a bookmark as it stuck about 1/4 of an inch up and out from the top right corner. Still quite readable though, so i've dealt.

anything out of the ordinary with the books make them a collector item. with so many perfect and just a few having something wrong, those will be worth gads of money someday. just like books that i have autographed. since i have done so few they should be worth in excess of ten thousand dollars. i might even buy some back if i can find them at that price. but who would be so stupid to part with such an item.
