Bet the turn. The Ace is just as scary for him as it is you. Fold to a raise.

this could be right against a good opponent who could actually find a fold, but almost every 60% vpip player is going to call your bet with a J/Q here.

it's fine as long as you believe him if he bets out the river and fold. if you're planning on calling a rivered bet, then bet the turn.

i like how you played it.

I would have bet the turn.

I doubt that BB has a Q because he checked the flop, or an A because he checked the turn. On the river the only likely hand that he might have that beat you was Jx.

I think BB probably bet the river, because you showed weakness by checking the turn, and that you could have folded the best hand here.

I would have called the river (and maybe bet the turn as well). Given the flop it is possible that the opponent holds something like a flush or a straight draw or a small pocket pair. If he busted that draw he is likely to bet out the river when you checked the turn.

I like to bet the turn, then check thru the river. This way you get to see the river for 1 bb.

But the way you played it is not bad. You saved yourself a bb. I personally would like to see what he is calling with, and take a note on him, so I like the bet turn/check river.
