Default AQs and clarkmeister

Villian is 17/0/4.5 after 42 hands.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Preflop: I is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">I raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">I caps</font>, BB calls.

42 hands isn't a lot and he could have suspected a steal raise, thus 3betting a mediocre hand.

Flop: (8 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">I bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">I 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB caps</font>, I calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
I checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, I calls.

River: (10 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">I bets</font>, BB calls.

Correct?

Final Pot: 12 BB

Don't think so. Clarkmeister's theorem is about a value bet. This guy has never raised preflop, and you think his 3bet is bogus? What the hell is he capping on the flop that you beat after you cap preflop? I don't think there's any value in your bet, and I doubt he's folding.

This hand confused me and right after playing it I had that feeling that I had just done something terrible, hence why i posted it. Would anyone cap this preflop, and who would call this turn? I've heard all kinds of things about Clarkmeister - I've read on this forum that you should bet anything on the river if the board becomes four of the same suit. This doesn't make much sense to me. What does make sense to me is betting a good non-flush hand and getting called by either a worse hand or a low flush (and almost always folding if raised). I know this situation is unique from that, but what ran through my head at the time was "Clarkmeister," even though the way I played it doesn't make sense in the context of how I understand the theorem. Perhaps I could have made a better hand fold this river?

BB's flop raise smells enough like AK or AA to me that I would go into call down mode from there.

I wouldn't cap against this guy. Gimme a 7+ PFR guy at least.
