(AKs) against usual suspects
Sorry to go back to back. Same villains in hand I just posted. CO is 69/3/1 after 50, UTG is 29/11/1.5 after 100
Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, Hero caps, SB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls. Flop: (17 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, UTG bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, SB calls. I'm sure everybody says raise for the free card, and they're all probably right. I didn't because I thought there was a decent chance I'd get three-bet by either SB or UTG. Turn: (10.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, UTG bets, UTG+1 folds, Hero... Edit: subject |

Edit: subject [/ QUOTE ] Perfect timing on this hand. I think you'r logic is fine on the flop call. Man..the pot is so big, but I just can't see going on here. The best we can hope for is that UTG is bluffing and even if he is, we're either behind or chopping with the sb. I'm folding the turn. |

Re: (AKs) against usual suspects
Id fold this one on turn. The flop is drawless and UTG bets into a raiser and a reraiser and bets turn into 3 callers. Also sb is still to act after you. Between them both one of them has a q or pp, you may very well be drawing dead.

Re: (AKs) against usual suspects
IMHO, your chopping enough with A high here a call is profitable. An interesting idea here: If your going to call the river anyways....A raise here is a good idea for a number of reasons. #1. You maybe able to push the small blind out if he has a 3 and #2. If UTG only has AK (or JJ)....you may get him to fold and scoop the whole pot.
If your 3 bet its an easy easy easy fold. |

Re: (AKs) against usual suspects
I think the fact that we are chopping so often and losing even more often swings it to a fold on the turn. However if going to showdown I like the raise suggestion.
