Drawing to the non nut low
When should I? This game is confusing. Do i need to pick up ray zee's book?

You can do it when you have some solid backdoor highs or other weak draws (i.e. backdoor nut flush, gutshots, etc.), or when you think you have the best low draw. The 2nd part is very tricky and if you're new it would be much better to simply never draw with a naked non-nut low.

[/ QUOTE ] Even in a small pot would it still be correct to draw if you had a semi-strong high hand or strong high draw? |

That depends on your opponents. If there is a low draw on the board, don't draw to semi-strong high hands in most scenarios. If you have backdoor potential (i.e. nut low/nut flush) you are much stronger. It's often a pot odds question - these aren't obvious, especially to beginners, so you'd do well to study some percentages and equities for situations like this.
