Re: Best method of cleaning Kem cards?
Tell ya the truth I've never actually tried regular water on a towel. I'm sure that it works great, but my lazy ass just went for something that was pre moistened when it came time to clean my cards rather than going to the sink and wetting a dish rag or something. Too much work involved there.

Re: Best method of cleaning Kem cards?
thanks for the advice, damp paper towel and a quick mix with the baby powder did the trick

Re: Best method of cleaning Kem cards?
I have Copag cards and I just use a damp cloth for cleaning. I wipe both sides of the card with the damp cloth and then remove any remaining moisture with a dry cloth. This method returns my cards back to "like new" condition after every game.
I have to admit that I'm intrigued by the corn meal suggestion. That would certainly remove any moisture and the slightly grainy texture would likely remove any debris. I may give that a try next time. |

Re: Best method of cleaning Kem cards?
[ QUOTE ]
a patron spilled mustard from a hot dog on the back of his Kem card. The dealer was livid and had to throw out the deck [/ QUOTE ] This dealer is crazy. He didn't have to "throw out the whole deck". He had to throw out the CARD. There isn't a brand of cards so expensive that the price per card is worth getting livid at a customer. I once dropped an empty chip-rack and it cracked down the side. I'm sure glad nobody got livid at me. -Sam |
