[img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] No, you can't, because if you do you should have just bet on the turn. With second pair and a flush draw I bet the turn and here's why: 1) I may have the best hand and will probably get a free showdown instead of possibly getting bet off of it when I check the turn. 2) I may get a better hand like A3 to fold. I'm pretty sure he won't fold it if I don't bet. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] 3) I probably have somewhere between 9-14 outs if I'm behind so I don't mind if the pot gets bigger. Also, if the flush does hit they might be more inclined to call your river bet than if you had given your hand away by checking the turn. Edit; Changed A2 to A3. |
