Do you worry that Villian flopped two pair? Or do you conitnue to raise and cap?

once he 3-bets that relatively drawless flop and utg+2 folds to leave it heads up, i am completely fine just calling down from there.

the other option is capping the flop and calling down from the turn bet. once he leads after you cap the flop, raising the turn is a bit much against typical players who don't get aggressive without good stuff.

With no reads, it's tough to say whether you should cap the flop. I rarely cap the flop with only top pair. I might do it against a maniac; I would do it short handed. But I probably would not do it in this case. I would call down UI from the flop. I certainly would not raise the turn after capping the flop and having him lead out.

I think the cap on the flop is fine but once he leads on the turn just call him down if he's your typical opponent.
