2/4 can make you money right now. There are definitely players there that are as bad as at .5/1. Unfortunately there aren't as many of them. You'll also find more aggression, but it's often bad aggression. Be aware that not all fish are created equal, and learn to vary your play according to table conditions more than you may have done at .5/1.

The higher you go in limits, the more you'll have to rely on your table selection skills. At 2/4, because the good tables outnumber the bad, this usually takes the form of recognizing an unprofitable table and leaving, rather than an active search for a great table. It's not uncommon for me to sit down blind at four random tables and stay at all of them for hours.
