Before her family went to sleep that night, Gill says, she promised her children - ages 1, 5 and 11 - that they'd have a minivan, a shopping spree, a savings account and a home with a back yard. [/ QUOTE ] All that for $100k??? ok. |

Fcuk them! If they pulled that sh!t on me, I'd probably do the same thing. Imagine how you would feel if you were convinced you're $100,000 richer, only to be crushed and humiliated. Sure, it's not $100,000 worth of pain, but fcuk them. Some people would have already called their boss an [censored] and quit their job. You just can't get away with that sh!t.

Yeah, even if it's not $100,000 worth of trouble for her, those jackasses at the station deserve to be forced to pay it.

I guess I'm just a lot more easy-going that most people. I figure as long as they never said they were giving away 100 Grand DOLLARS they'd have their asses covered, and they got me good.

Later, he offered her $5,000, Gill said.
"I said I wanted $95,000 more," she said. "Nobody would watch and listen for two hours for a candy bar." Yeah, but they're offering $5k... a lot of people would listen for two hours for that. |
