Default Re: would everyone else just drop this bb preflop

PF is 100% fine. Folding at either occasion would be very poor.

Post-flop is also fine. The flop and turn are both clear-cut. I'm not too sure about overcalling on the river. On one hand, the pot is huge, and the turn "action" suggests that nobody really has anything they're that proud of. On the other hand, you can't beat much. On the other hand, you only have to be good < 5% of the time for this to be +EV. On the other hand it is really easy for somebody to have a straight. I couldn't argue with either a call or fold.

PREFLOP: With 7 players in, I call the raise in the BB and then call the added two since I am already in for two.

FLOP: Still in it with the gutshot.

TURN: GOOt

RIVER: Might as well call for one bet after the turn got checked through getting 20:1 for your middle pair of eights.

All gOOt.
