Are there really more 2/4 tables than 1/2?
I was having a rough time finding good 1/2 tables last night as they were very tight and continually breaking up, causing me to continually jump to fresh tables. Only to have them break up or go Rock on me. Then I noticed how many more 2/4 tables were running so...
With plenty BR to play 3/6 I decided to jump on a 2/4 table. Do you think more players skipping out of 1/2 and going directly to 2/4? It didn't play too much differently to me. Some suckouts, a bit more aggro at times, but there were plenty of people calling down with weak Aces too. Maybe 2/4 is better than 1/2, and 3/6 is too tight for a lot of players? Has anyone else noticed it doesn't seem as if there are as many 1/2 tables playing as maybe before? |

2/4 is WAY different than 1/2, I recommend still playing 10k hands at 1/2, as weak-tight and annoying as it is.

[/ QUOTE ] Play lots of 1/2 6 max, skip 1/2 full completely. Personally I think an awesome progression for someone to take would be .50/1 1/2 6 max 2/4 2/4 6 max on Stars 5/10 6 max 10/20 6 max 15/30 |

^^ you don't think stars 3/6 6max is worth playing before jumping to 5/10 6?

Re: Are there really more 2/4 tables than 1/2?
How does everyone find 1/2 so difficult? It takes a little more table selection than .5/1, but the post flop play is SO bad, it completely makes up for how slightly tighter it is Pre flop. I only have 5,500 hands on it, but after 30,000 at .5/1 I am astounded by how awesomely donktastic 1/2 is post flop.

Re: Are there really more 2/4 tables than 1/2?
Why does every one say skip 1/2 I am curious because I was just about to move up from .50/1.00 and I dont really have a bank roll for 2/4. I currently play on pokerstars (.50/1.00) and was considering moving to party 1/2.

Why 1/2 6 max? and if I was to do this does any one know of where I can find a good preflop starting hand chart for 6 max so I have an good idea when I first start out. used search function but found nothing.
