When you move up a little, you'll find that suited connectors can add quite a bit to your game, same goes for small pairs (which you should play for implied odds anyway).

So basically you're a new player who decided to eliminate all the hard to play hands from your game, and focus on the big hands.
Smart, but not exactly revolutionary. In order to become a good player you must learn to play small pairs, suited connectors, and hands like AQ. |

I've stopped calling small pairs (77 or lower) in a raised pot fearing domination or a coin flip. [/ QUOTE ] This isn't good. Play small pairs for set value. And usually races are when you're all in preflop. |

In fact it's a good idea. But it's basically the exact same tight, ABC method that is often prescribed on this forum for newbies. |
