Capped to me on BB with QQ

With a flop lie that, how aggressive can you be? I had no reads at the time because I was on the beginning of my second orbit. WHat is the correct plays on each street? Help would be appreciated.....thanks

I prefer to lead the flop and 3-bet a raise. Although I don't hate calling a raise either. If another [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] falls on the turn, that is not the end of the world.

I went to HS in Burnsville, class of '92. Go Braves! (I guess it's Blaze now).

Meh.

Playing QQ is not fun when it's capped to you preflop by unknowns, even with the BB discount. Reason being you cannot feel good about any flop that doesn't contain a Q, and on a J-high flop such as the one you got, you may well be way behind. You were basically forced to play passively despite having an overpair, with not even the backdoor flush certain to save you although it may have this time. Try not to get yourself into these spots as they can cost you a lot of money, and that means folding preflop without a read.

I agree, I throw this away pf. When it is capped to you you can almost be positive that you are behind to at least KK or AA and very possibly both.
