Why'd you check the river? I'd bet 1/2 to 2/3 pot there.

He obviously wanted to check raise him, but I would have bet atleast half or more because he already called the 10 bet on the turn. The check makes no sense unless you know he would have bet out.

I had to keep looking at the hand to figure out what happened on the river here. Did a flush make it here? No. Was there a likely full house? No. Was the hero already all-in No.
You don't bet with a draw the whole way then check on the river when you make it. Matter of fact, if you were behind the whole way, you didn't get paid off for making your long shot draw. He's shown no real strength... he's not going to bet this for you. Bet Bet Bet. |
