Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Game had been playing relatively tight, so the number of preflop cold calls sure got my attention. SB was crafty to his detriment a bit in the last two orbits. Anyone 3-bet the flop or continue in the hand? Relatively easy laydown? Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG+2 posts a blind of $2. Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, 4 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: (13 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB raises, BB folds, Hero calls, CO folds, Button calls. Turn: (10 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets... |

With three players on the turn I think I'd bail, but It's not making me feel too good. Heads up no, but I don't think they both are on flush draws. Would SB have tried being "tricky" on a flop with 6? Someone has the K. But maybe I'm a wimp.

He would check/raise two diamonds right?
I'd probably raise and that would be the end of it. It seems close though between folding and raising. Part of it depends on what I thought CO and button may have here. |

He would check/raise two diamonds right? [/ QUOTE ] That was my first inclination. I thought he most likely had a flush draw, and I think chief's suggestion of raising is the best approach to take here. |

So, you raise the flop, right?
What if he caps it and then bet out? What if he calls and then bet out on turn? If he calls then check on the turn, it's an easy bet, right? (if it's a blank that is) But he could also do that with a K and be afraid of the kicker. |

If a third party caps it I would have reason to be worried, but it would be nice to face a weak king with two more. What do you make of the fact that most of field is in with cold-calling hands? Not hands that limped and got raised? Discuss. Thanks. |

If it were me then I'm probably holding a small or medium pocket pair or something like JTs, 9Ts. But different people coldcall with different hands. More passive opponents could have AK. KQ is a possibility. Some people overvalue any Axs even if they play tight otherwise. It's hard to say. |

After reading other people's responses, I see more merit to the flop 3-bet since you may get it HU and buy the button. But it seems to me, you need the SB to be on a draw AND everyone else to fold about 20% of the time for this to be profitable. It seems like a stretch to me.

Id fold this one on the turn. There are many coldcallers prefl and 1 caller and 1 raiser on this fl without str8 draws is bad. Yes pot is big but to me it looks like you are surely behind and a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] would kill you.
