Interpoker N Ecash

Im in the uk and tried to register my card with ecash through interpoker. My cards a Maestro with HSBC and its being rejected. Ecash said its barred i spoke to HSBC (indina call centre mind hmmm)and they said there are no bars on the card at all. Anyone know anything about this with ecash? Im clueless and dont want to use any third partys and lose a % on each transaction. Any thoughts much appreciated.
