Not to be rude, but I really dislike posts that tell you what to do, but don't say why that is the correct play. If you write that calling down is better than raising, please explain why you think so.

I thought he had me reverse dominated with AJ, AQ, or most likely A6. If not he could have one of the 2 flush draws now. Or flopped trip 6's or two pair with QJ. I though since he is a calling station type the turn bet was clear that I was behind. And since the pot is small and there is a good chance I have to put in 2 bb to see a showdown so I mucked it. |

I folded how bad is it? [/ QUOTE ] Really bad. You're forfeiting a lot of money by folding to bets like these. Rob |

I just wonder if there is ever a time to make a smart laydown in low limit holdem. I hate calling down, and a raise here is even worse than folding correct? I really hate calling down in small pots vs few opponents also. And I would make a mental note to watch that this table does not try betting me off future hands. Sigh I'm always wrong! Thx for the help everyone. |

A lot of the time these donk bets turn out to be Ax where x!=6. No way you can fold the turn here.
Edit: Forgot to mention that even if he does have A6 you still have a lot of out on the river. |
