Most overrated is AQo, underrated K9s.
I don't like those pokerroom EV stats one bit. I think the suited connector and pocket pair hands are better than they are, it's just that people tend to do donkish stuff with them like cold calling and chasing backdoor/2 out draws which knocks the EV stats down.

Isn't that also an indication people are over-rating those hands?

I agree that you have to figure out why the stats are what they are, and recognize that players lose 3 BB/100 on average. I think the PokerRoom EV stats are great for some things, possibly including helping an overly tight player find more +EV hands to play. If an average player can win with QTs in early position, so can a good player.

The hand I have seen overplayed most at the casino is Axs, so I would call this hand overrated.

Most underrated is mid-pocket pairs 99-JJ.

my post flop doesn't suck, don't be condescending...

i know QQ is premium hand... all i'm saying is that i seem to get my queens outdrawn more often than not or i run into AK and my queens suddenly become a coinflip (as lowly pocket 2s would be in the same situation)... because of this i feel it is overrated, but not in the exact definition of the word, but more in a gut-feeling type

Most overrated - KQ - When you raise with this hand at a good table from early position, any time you get a caller you are behind.

Most underrated - 55 - This hand is better than KQ but few people know it.

I can't really see how JJ,QQ, or AK can be overrated when you still have to play them preflop 99% of the time. If anything they're underrated because people too often call 3 cold with them as opposed to capping.

Under rated has to be 10dX this hand is awesome almost unbeatable i say 1 in 5 times ur dealt 10d u should play it. even raise pre. Also 72o the amount of times 72 has flopped is unreal. Dont get me wrong i aint no fish or lag. Just i hold 10d close to my heart it has got me out of some situations in tourneys. u should see the look on the other guys face when u show 10d6x lol. Without a shadow of a doubt AJ suited unsuited so overrated. i see people have sticky fingers and cant put the hand down and for some reason they think its invincible and play it stronger than AA idiots.

Playing on-line I would say Ax and any two suited cards are waaaaaay overrated.

But personal experience I would say AK is the most over and under rated hand.

The lower the kicker w an A, the more vulnerable you are. With A2s, I cannot get excited even when an A flops, unless it is accompanied by 2 cards of my suit. I am careful below A9. I might prefer A2 to A6, but only slightly so.

Over Rated - AQo. It's the Drag Queen of poker. Looks good enough to go all the way with, but in the end, you just get dicked.
