Default Thrasymachus vs Erik123

I heard that thrasymachus (who won 8 seats on stars), just played erik123 in a series of five 5k Hu sngs... he won all but one.. Not too bad eh? Pretty impressive for a guy who has seemingly come out of the woodwork within this last month. Anyone have any other info on this guy? Somebody find out this guys name so I can track his progress at the wsop.

Thras is just destroying lately. Apprantly he's just some young kid from Toronto. Obviously doing really well though. I have also heard he plays on other sites, PokerChamps among them. Anyone know his screennames for other sites?

We got it headsup round1 on a 160DS. I wasn't entirely impressed as he it seemed he got there by getting all his money in a couple of times with the worst of it but drawing out. Headsup, He went allin on JQQx board and I rolled my KK over to his AJ. Course spikes A on river leaving me with about 1k, which I didn't recover from.
In no way am I saying he isn't what people are touting, as he obviously is killing with that many wins. Just going with my very small sample size.

hi, i have been at the table w/ him a few times---stars 22's. each time he seemed like a solid tight-aggressive player. the first 2 times i remember noting that he didn't lose any big pots....so i thought he was running good. he played w/ a lot of confidence, and didn't seem to want much chat. third time i was out before the money round so i don't know how he did. nothing spectacular.......but his record at those tourneys seems almost unbelievable. an aside, that i would like to throw open for comment: w/ so many young folks w/ a lot of time on their hands (at least here in socal, where not too much online poker seems to be played---many indian gaming facilities) what is the possibility that a few of these wonders are playing by committee? it is easy to imagine, not very expensive for a lot of kids, and irieguy already proved that 2 guys could work together playing 'production poker'. add 2 computers, one w/ sng tools, and one w/ poker tracker. and 2 'players' operating 12 tables, and being provided w/ critical info instantly. i actually thought the 'crew' was into something like this, but am probably wrong............h

The misinformation flying around in this thread is amusing.
