Are you kidding me? Unless the guy that raised you was ultra-tight and has barely been involved in pots, I positively hate this laydown.

You are worried about sets and KJ here (possibly AA but I doubt it), which are very few hands. On the other hand, hands such as AJ, KQ, KT, QQ, JQ, JT are all liable to play this way. Plus your random semi-bluffs with QT or a heart draw ... I do not like this fold at all. You are ahead of too many hands that play this way.

As way of advice, you should have potted the turn and I would also have bet more on the flop. As it stands, the information you've gained about his hand is absolutely nothing. He called $3 into a ~$10 pot, which means very little. Your $5 turn bet screams weakness (AQ or TT come to mind) and BB might feel that a JQ is good here and worth a value raise even.

You did not gather enough information with your betting, and as such you do not have enough information to make any accurate assumption about what BB might be holding.

Stronger play will lead to more information, which will lead to better decisions, which will lead to more profit.

All in my opinion, of course.
