Anyone digging the new Common? I hate Kanye, but he did a great job with Common...

Now THIS guy has good taste.

Anyways, Kanye is TOO nice and I am surprised you aren't feeling him if you like Common. I got the common album yesterday and it is amazing.

I'm into really simple beats.

Common's Resurrection does it for me. Stuff like Mos Def, Blackstar, ATCQ, etc etc is usually the stuff I'm really into.

I like some hip hop. Not really the backpacker stuff though, more Nas, Jay-Z, Jada, Lil Jon, Fabolous, Big Pun, Mike Jones, Ghostface, Trife, Ying Yang Twins, Slimm Calhoun, ect. Rawer club stuff, basically.

I like hip hop but there's no point in me talking about what I listen to because its not underground or obscure enough so people tear it to shreds.

They should all get together and do a song. Incubus on the instrumentals / chorus, Nas + Sage Francis with verses.

Kanye's not too bad. Listen to his new song...

Something to that effect. Great lyrics. His flow is always kind of suspect, but his lyrcis offer an alternative to that G-Unit "I kill you I sell drugs I [censored] bitches I'm fiddy cent" [censored].
