Cloutier plays 10+1!?
from this article...
Cloutier wins sixth WSOP bracelet [ QUOTE ] Cloutier lauded the new generation of internet players, saying they build a great base playing online and are then able to step into a real-life cardroom and stare grizzled veterans square in the eye. In fact, Cloutier said that he himself plays $11 single-table tournaments online almost every night to keep on top of his game. [/ QUOTE ] well, I hope now that he has a sixth bracelet he makes the big step to, I don't know... the 20+2? With his $657,100, prize for this latest win, he could use this for online poker and have about a 30,000 buy-in roll at those stakes. Also, I'm not sure if the 10+1 really is the best place to keep on top of ones game. But then again, I won't argue with TJ Cloutier. Seriously though, I think this has to either be a misprint, or horribly taken out of context. Regards Brad S |

Re: Cloutier plays 10+1!?
He probably plays one every now and then before bed. I mean if it was between playing an $11 or getting in bed next to his wife, I think the decision is easy.

Re: Cloutier plays 10+1!?
Its probably gotten to the point for TJ that the money is insignificant and he plays purely for recreational and fun.

Re: Cloutier plays 10+1!?
I can see it. Since the money means nothing whatsoever to him, he can try out new strategies with complete abandon. There is probably a fair amount to learn in figuring out how to beat the $11s for the most ridiculously gigantic ROI possible.
