Default 1k pot with no pair good?

I play pretty aggressive in this type of structure so I often will buy in for 400 or 500 and try and build a stack slowly, heads up though can be different story. Does anyone not push on this flop? And how about the showdown amazing or what?

Party Poker Pot-Limit Omaha/8, $20 BB (2 handed) converter

Button ($1861)
Hero ($537)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2, 4, 8, A. Button posts a blind of $20.
Hero raises to $40, Button (poster) raises to $120, Hero calls $80.

Flop: ($240) T, 7, 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $239, Hero raises to $417 (All-In), Button calls $178.

Turn: ($1074) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($1074) K (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $1074

I take it down with:
Ace High! 1k!

I think it's not a bad flop to get all the money in quickly with, but why go for the check-raise? The other guy can't fold, pot's laying him too good of odds. And with your hand, you have to take advantage of the folding equity the other guy has on the flop, and put him in a situation where a fold might be reasonable. Your hand is one of those where you feel OK getting action with, but you're rarely going to get the whole pot. The main strength of your hand with that flop is being able to put pressure on opponents to fold.

With that in mind, I'd bet out the pot on this flop, and if you get played with, be comfortable getting all in as you did.

Bummer that it didn't work out.
