Top pair vs. flush draw
So this hand just happened. I figured I had best hand after flop because i dont think villian would play trips, if he had a five, so aggressive. Therefore, i figured he had hearts. Assuming the villian does have this draw was this the correct call? I mean if you know someone is on the flush draw, they will make it like 50% of the time. Is that right? So i guess does it come down to my stack size, number of people left, payout etc. to determine if i should gamble or not? There were seven people left and top five get money but assuming i was playing to finish top three i felt like i had to gamble. General thoughs on top pair vs. flush draw would be appreciated. Also, i know my raise was a little on the small size, would that of mattered. What about the fact that there was someone behind me still to act?

Easy call.
Learn your percentages/odds for the major types of draws. They're important. |

Re: Top pair vs. flush draw
What would the percentages/odds be. s Do you know a good place to look these up. Calculate? I understand the math for one card left, but after the flop it gets a little iffy. Any help would be appreciated.
After flop one card for flush gutshot straight draw outside straight any other important odds |
