Default knowing your opponents + aggression = $$$$$$$$

here are a few hands where i had reads and they paid off.

UTG is 30vpip/20pfr..i can use this against him. when he limps i know he does not have an ace. he raises any ace and descent K ro Q. here he is just tryign to steal the pot and im in perfect position to face teh 2 blinds with 2 bets to see the turn.

Ultimate Bet 2/4 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Hero calls, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, UTG folds.

Final Pot: 5 BB

same opponent here. i pugt him on a weak hand even before the flop comes. i know he once again doesnt have the ace. now ill admit capping the flop was a mistake, and i shoulda bet the river against him.

Ultimate Bet 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, CO calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, CO bets, Hero raises, BB folds, CO 3-bets, Hero caps, CO calls.

Turn: (7.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets, CO calls.

River: (9.25 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

guess i shoulda raised preflop here. opponent is 38vpip/5pfr..pretty typical guy. when he bets this flop he may have a 6, but i want to showdown.

Ultimate Bet 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
4 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (2 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

Turn: (3 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB folds.

Final Pot: 4 BB

this opponent is actually a winning player. i called his flop bet with the intention of raising the turn to represent the three of a kind. plus i had outs if he called. i would not bet the river unimproved here if he calls my turn raise.

Ultimate Bet 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero calls, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB folds.

Turn: (2.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB folds.

Final Pot: 5.50 BB

All I can say about hands #1 and #2 is that I'm stunned this guy is a 30/20. His open-limps are just plain weak.

Hand 4. Do yourself a favor to not open limp, especially in the CO.

you have got to either raise or fold the QTo preflop in hand 4. Also, raise 44 to a SB-open limp 100% of the time in hand 3.
