so i'm at a table w/ this guy at Poker Stars. and i'm playing like a total fish, so he says to me. "if i dont have your $120 in 20 minutes, i'll send you $40" is this a deal they would enforce?

[/ QUOTE ] 1. No they wouldn't enforce it because A) it looks like a joke/insult and not an offer and B) there is no "consideration" or something that you offer or agree to do in return. In other words, no "deal" has been made. 2. Only thieves, moochers, and other types of parasites use technicalities to get money that they haven't earned. 3. Stop playing like a total fish. |

They wouldn't enforce this any more than your third grade teacher would enforce a playground truth-or-dare. It's not their job, or any part of the T&C. They provide a poker room. That's it.

Given the precident set by Pokerstars ... this deal should easily be enforced.
They've demonstrated that mutual consideration is not a prerequisite for a deal. |

This isn't a tournament, I don't think they will help out with deal making in cash games cuz that's silly.

OTOH, enforcing a "deal" in a HU tourney where one guy gets something if he loses and the other gets nothing is just about as silly as it gets, so why not in cash games?
