how will they bring in any money. are they charging membership fees. this would ssem to deter the more causual player.

Maybe they'll charge $4 for a cup of water. And you'd have to drink a cup every half hour. Might even be good for you.

That will most likely be considered promotion of gambling, because the promoter cannot profit in any way shape or form. This may include (although it has not been argued yet in court I was told) the owners gambling themselves. This also includes dealers, they cannot profit of they are considered to be breaking the law according to the current DA's interpretation. Odd, but true.

Theoretically selling munchies might be breaking the law, because its promoting gambling while financially gaining. The courts can see through these small loopholes if the DA wants to prosecute hard enough.
