Don't beat yourself up dude, its a learning process...The fact that you can verbalize your thoughts as the hand was developing is a good sign, now we just need to get you thinking the *right* things...

If you're taking a shot AND feeling apprehensive, you don't want to be in a game where people are jamming with marginal hands. Find the fishy, passive, 5-to-the-flop-for-one-bet kind of game until you get some solid ground under your feet at the new limit. Trying to play bigger AND adjust to a super aggressive game is going to result in hands like this one; you were adrift with no clue where you stood or what to do. |
