The Cashout Slump - seems real the moment...
I just cashed out a large amount of money, and after two weeks straight of pretty decent luck (no horrible days or long runs of bad beats) - and so far today I'm down 9 buy-ins (very rare for me) all from pretty good play IMO (not much tilt play). About half and half - huge suckouts on the river & great hand vs. nuts (top boat vs. quads?! bah).
Seems like this happens alot after large cashouts on Party. I don't know why exactly (I don't have theories of Party being non-random) - but this seems to be a common theme among Party players. Probably just my luck catching up with me. We all know it feels crappy though. |

Re: The Cashout Slump - seems real the moment...
This theory was carfully explained to me by a player named "Sammy."
I copy/pasted the chat on this thread: Thread about Party Cashout Curse My question for the cashout curse theorists is: What happens if ten of the players who just cashed out sit at a table. Do all of them lose to the dealer? How would that work? Maybe recent casher-outers could start up a table and I could join and just call str8 and flush draws all the way knowing I'm gonna hit a goldmine. |

I broke it on the sixth try though. I have cashed out twice in the last three days and am up.
