Re: KQs from UTG

If you're ahead of AK here, he still is very much drawing live to you [/ QUOTE ] Doesn't 3 outs qualify as WB? |

Re: KQs from UTG
thanks for the response. I very much agree that I went overboard with capping the flop. Luckily i think it paid off on he turn. I'll try to restrain my raise-finger a little bit the next time...
and yes, MP3 had AA. |

Re: KQs from UTG

I probably adopt a WA/WB line here. Check-call the flop, check-raise the turn, bet the river if vilain just calls the turn. [/ QUOTE ] How is this a WA/WB line? It gets him to fold a worse hand that is drawing almost dead (except AK which will peel, this is all assuming a non Q turn), and gets you 3-bet by better hands. Unless this was only your plan with the Q hitting. |

Re: KQs from UTG
I think u played it well considering the turn came a q. Some reads would be nice here, if a blank fell i would probably bet/fold the turn, same with an ace as a scare card semi bluff. King you are definatley betting your main concern should be a spade, and if that comes your in a tough spot espically a k or q, in either case id probably bet call atwd.

Re: KQs from UTG
I think your were a bit aggressive on that flop. I would have just called the three bet.
On the turn, I probably would have called down a blank and bet into a king or ace and folded to a raise. |
