Default VP$IP UTG 6 handed

What is your VP$IP UTG. It should be relatively easy to hash out since only table texture and not other players actions impact our decision. Please tell me your VP$IP and if you are over 12, post your weakest offsuit A, suited A, Offsuit K, suited K, pp, and any other marginal hand you feel is profitable. (JTs, QTs)

FWIW, I'm ~10 and am looking to find a few more hands. It's really weird to try and work on your preflop game. Thanks for the help,

Krishan

I'm just a bit above 12. My UTG opening standards are ATo+, A9s+ (sometimes A8s), KJo+, KTs+, QJs (sometimes QTs), 77+ (and most of the time, 66). This is at 3/6 6m and 5/10 6m.

I don't remember what my UTG VPIP is and I don't have my 6-max databases anymore. Here is my hand range UTG:

77/A8s/ATo/KTs/KJo/QJs

In retrospect I think that my old UTG range is too tight and when I play shorthanded games in the future, I will loosen up and add some more hands.

I've just been checking my 20k hands @ 5/10 to check out how various hands are doing. Managed a good 17% VP$IP.

I'm in with at least A8s & ATo, K9s & KTo, QTs & QTo, JTs and 55+.

If anybody is limping UTG, it would be interesting to hear what hands and why (other than the standard "I limped these pairs and JTs because this particular table was really loose/passive and I knew everyone would limp behind me").

a6s/a8o/k8s/k9o/q9s/qjo/jts/66

at loose-passive tables, I also open limp (booo) with 22-66,a6s-a2s. The aces are easily plus ev, the small pairs slightly +, but table conditions have to be right.

I limp at those tables with baby pairs because players will cold call with such tripe as T9o, which is distastrous for me, so I tend to limp and look for a favorable flop. Similarly, if people are cold-calling with any ace, raising with A2-A5s seems spewish, but those hands have too much multi-way value to fold.

In a more aggro game, I pitch em, in a tighter game, I raise em. In a TAGish game, I ask for a seat change...

This sounds about right for me. I play 33 and 22 as well but probably am a little more conservative with Axs and the smaller connectors.

FWIW 18.44/17.00 VPIP/PFR
