Re: AK right after 2nd break in $5.50 rebuy on stars
Hold on there... with all due respect please consider..
This is a rebuy tourney where 30 or so get $160. At the first break 17K chips is likely top 10 or so. No reason to risk all your chips on a drawing hand. Remember the goal here is survival - no value in being 1st in chips - the value is in making it to the end. If this were a regular tourney I'd call or re-reaise. Likely a 4x raise. Regards |

Re: AK right after 2nd break in $5.50 rebuy on stars
AK is most definitely a drawing hand. While sure its Ace with top Kicker a King but, I have seen it loose to a pair of 4's or 6's way to often.
So, I'd respectfully disagree. |

[/ QUOTE ] Are you still trying to prove to us that AK is a 'drawing hand'? Please stop this nonsense. And showing one hand where 22 beat AK proves nothing outside of the fact that sometimes it happens - and sometimes it doesn't. AK is a very, very strong hand. Not a drawing hand. And here's MY case in point: if you raised with 22, and I re-raised you with AK and SHOWED you the AK, what would you do with your 22? Just curious. |
