spurs a lock????
[img]/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif[/img] game 4...no big guy(assuming dirk does not play...van exel has not been the same as against sac....do the spurs score at will...and keep mavs from any semblance of a real offense....hey, everyone is jumping on this...line -4 to -4.5...

This one looks like a decent spot for the Mavs, but I just wonder how they play without Dirk. I think at home they can play a competitive game, but at these stakes and with what has to be the more tired team due to the fairly thin bench contribution and two 7 game series I think I am just going to pass on it. But I would definitely not be that fond of laying a lot of points on the Spurs. They had everything go right in the last 15 minutes of game 3. I doubt Parker can be such a force again and no Dirk means maybe the Mavs go to a defender on Duncan that could change things up a bit. Problem is I don't have a clue who Dallas could put there.
Hard to say, if Dallas comes out determined and with a winning attitude they can stay close. If they think oh there goes our main guy, but its been a nice season you can imagine what will happen.

I put down 3 units on Spurs -1 Q1 tonight.
Spurs have been putting it to the Mavs right out of the box each of the first 3 games. Even with a no-bucket dry spell the last 4 minutes of Q1 in ga 3 Spurs hung on for an 18-18 tie. I had Spurs + 0.5 point in that one. Bradley is out. Dirk is out or less than 100%. I am wagering Spurs slam it inside on offense and guard the Mav outside shooters tightly on defense. If van Exel and the others blow by, the Spur big men eat them up. Raken
