Default NL10/20 party hand

Although I was not in this hand, my friend and I had a lengthy discussion on it. First, what do you think of the play of HERO and VILLIAN, given that HERO has a VPIP of about 40-50% and is super aggressive.

Also, had you been the villian and had a JJ or 99 on the same flop, how would you have played this against a super-LAG whos got a VPIP40%

i should give more info on this. my friend (hero) had AA and the villian had QQ. what do you think of the play of both these players? then, what do you think of thier play given that hero is a super LAG with a VPIP of 40%+ (not just shorthanded)

I like villian's play if hero is playing super lag.

Hero should exploit his image and reraise preflop. Villain won't put a lag on AA.

villains 1600 raise is just silly, why leave $400 left?

LAGs are good at getting paid off, so why the hell is he cold calling preflop with AA, not an integrated style your friend has!

with all this action on the flop i cant imagine AA was good, only hands i see doing this hes ahead of are big draws

Reraise big preflop, I doubt villain is laying down QQ to a 3rd raise from a lag.

both points well taken. i told him i was very surprised that the PF raiser only had QQ. i agree as well about the AA. against a very LAGGY player, AA will get action

I think checkraising allin in the first place was the better play in this situation, since if the LAG calls there are so many cards to hit draws or other hands and if you push the turn then he's usually only calling if you're beat.
