2/4 Party NL: Set over set over set on flop
This is one of the rare occasions where I get caught busy 4-tabling and working in the background and I paid almost $400 for it. I couldn't have played this hand worse if I tried, but I think some people would get stacked here. First mistake was checking the flop, I understand that. UTG+1 is fairly LAG, not sure too much about MP3.
Please don't comment on preflop or checking flop but focus more on after MP3 raises to $45. I think the question isn't DO you fold, but more WHEN do you fold this? Re: 2/4 Party NL: Set over set over set on flop
I think you can fold when it comes back to you a second time for $155 more...... you could be ahead vs. draw and 44, but the way this played out chances are you are in deep doo-doo

Re: 2/4 Party NL: Set over set over set on flop
youd get better responses with less leading titles and ?'s
honestly who folds second set stop multitabling like a monkey and be more aggressive |

Re: 2/4 Party NL: Set over set over set on flop
I'm not folding 2nd set here -
You are ahead of overpairs...some donks play AJ like this....I might be pushing this hard with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]...it happens...getting 2/1 with 2nd set doesn't seem all bad unless you are Marvin the Mindreader |

...I think the question isn't DO you fold, but more WHEN do you fold this? [/ QUOTE ] I fold as soon as I put one of them on exactly JJ. Which really isn't going to happen, because I'm thinking I just caught 2 people w/ over pairs or w/ one Jack trying to push people off a flush draw. I think folding QQ here would be acceptable, but not when I caught my middle set. Tough luck on this hand. |
