ACR / CRIS
I was wondering if anyone can offer any information regarding transfer of chips from ACR to CRIS (the sports book) and back.
- Can you transfer PB's (Promo Bucks) to CRIS? - Does CRIS offer a program similar to the PB program? - Does an ACR player have to jump through hoops to register with CRIS? Thanks for any info/advice "Your excuses are your own" -- Richard Roma |

Re: ACR / CRIS
You cannot transfer promo chips to cris. You can transfer promo bucks that have all the play requirements fufilled though. I.E hands. It is not hard to open an account with cris but I owuldnt reccomend it. Online Sports betting in the U.S is highly illegal if u dont live in nevada.

Have they finally made it a clear law, or are you just going on instinct here. My understanding is that playing online poker could be illegal but there is nothing that makes it clear one way or the other and you would never end up in court for it. Lori |

No they would never bust the players, its the house that would be busted, hence companies based out of Antigua, Caymen Islands, etc.

Re: ACR / CRIS
Not fully up on latest legal developments but . . .
if you are "gambling" in your living room in Utah, illegal. if you are "gambling" on the server located in Antigua, Antigua laws apply. LA DA shut down some operator called bet dot com or something. I have not heard of anyone prosecuting players, or trying to block the games. VISA and Mastercard do not like to fund accounts because they are concerned that these are gambling debts, and possibly unenforceable. Also, the US Congress has either passed a law, or requested the banking regulators, to stop these charges, because they are concerned about money laundering. |
